I ran into Fr. Carlos several years ago when his Treasures of the Church tour (which I highly recommend) came to my church. My wife and I were chosen to assist him set up in our gym and as we did, he and I got to talking about our ministries. I mentioned that I had a healing ministry and he mentioned a problem with his leg. That’s where it all started.
Since then, Fr Carlos has shared the story of his healing on social media and occasionally has put people who needed healing in touch with me, But my ministry got a huge boost when he mentioned my name during an episode of his podcast “The Exorcist Files” (which I also highly recommend). From Saskatchewan to Louisiana and from Colorado to North Carolina, people have reached out to me for prayer and (praise God) many were healed by Jesus – over the phone.
Why? Because God is not limited but distance or restrained by technology. The only limits He has are those that we place on Him. This is why – if you ask me for prayer – I will mostly likely A) Call you, B) Ask that a spouse, friend or family member be present to pray with you, C) Ask about your relationship with Christ and give you suggestion to improve it and D) Ask for the details behind what we are praying for.
In other words, you have to work for it, and I think this is why prayer is so successful. I’m not interested in seeing people healed as I am about seeing people draw closer to God.
