Guidelines For Prayer Warrior’s

Here are my “top 10” suggestions for how to pray for people on the warrior list:

  1. We have been allowed a very special privilege by sharing in this ministry. It is not a privilege given by me, but given by the Lord as both you and I have discerned that it is the Lords will that you should be a part of this team. Therefore, please do not share this list or speak of anyone on the list to anyone else. The people on this list have shared their intimate needs and have taken us into their confidence. Please respect that. If there is someone you think is also a prayer warrior that would be interested in this assignment, ask them to go HERE and submit their name. Likewise, if for whatever reason you want to be released from this ministry, then go to the same link and opt out.
  2. This list is beautiful. The intentions shared are deep, reflective and often for the benefit of others. Some are petitioning and crying out with their whole heart for needs outside of themselves – and that is beautiful. Enjoy the beauty found in these petitions.
  3. This list is ugly. Some of the people here are deeply, deeply hurt, abused and some (too many) are facing demonic oppression. Welcome to deliverance ministry because yes, this is real. Their cry to the Lord (through you) is raw and unfiltered. You can empathize with them and you may even relate to them, but do not allow their sorrow or their situation to overtake and consume you.
  4. My advice is to look at the whole list (it looks very daunting) but to pick a few that speak to you and focus your prayers on those people. I find that prayer works best when it is specific. Perhaps you share with their sufferings, perhaps you’ve walked their path or perhaps you don’t know why you are “nudged” to pray for them. All of these are okay. Don’t worry about the others on the list, there are other prayer warriors who will take them.
  5. It is not up to you (or me) to solve their problems, it is up to God. His ways are not our ways and just because we don’t hear positive news back from the person we are praying for does not mean there is none.
  6. Expect attacks from the evil one. You are actively working to take back the Kingdom of the Lord and the evil one is not happy about it. However, you are a warrior and have faced these attacks before. Do not be afraid for greater is He that is in you!
  7. You are not alone. Because of confidentiality, I must keep those seeking prayer anonymous and those praying anonymous, but know that you are not alone and there are people on this list from all over the world praying with you.
  8. Be joyful! You are doing some of the hardest and messiest work in the Lord’s vineyard by dealing with other peoples needs.
  9. Be confident and resolute. I will share any results of healings that I get with you as it important to feed back such “glory stories” to encourage you and reinforce the power of your prayers! Please pray for each other and if you have any prayer intentions, put them HERE so you can have a prayer warrior praying for you too!
  10. You are now privy to the deepest needs of people around the world. As I said, it is raw and beautiful at the same time and I pray that Jesus keep and guide you in this mission!
