We Christians should avoid sin – but we are fallen souls and we live in an imperfect world where sin abounds. We sinned yesterday, we sinned today and we will sin tomorrow. So what are we to do? Well, if we have sinned, it gives God the opportunity to turn its impact on us into something good. I too am a sinner; but at least I’m in good company – heck, everyone I know is a sinner too, and like everyone else, I struggled with sin for most of my life. I tried to figure out sin but I could not, so I read books, took religion classes, talked to priests, pastors, deacons and a whole bunch of other sinners and I found out two things:
A) No one had a comforting answer
B) We are all in the same boat (and we are all sea sick).
